The "Woods Fans" name has been synonymous with Axial Fans for over 100 years. The company originated in Colchester England and through the application of engineering excellence, has earned a reputation across the globe for product innovation, superior performance, reliability, and quality.

The current range of Woods air movement and axial flow fans (JM and Varofoil) remain market leaders for high efficiency, low sound, and durability. Woods Fans has successfully applied their axial fan technology to produce air movement solutions for many industries and applications that include, HVAC, smoke venting, sea vessels, mining and tunnel ventilation.

To better serve the North American market, Woods Fans began manufacturing in the United States over 25 years ago with the acquisition of the American Fan Company. Today both Woods Fans and AFC are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Flakt Woods Group, an international manufacturing and sales organization with 3500 employees focused solely on air movement solutions.
